He is just putting them all together in Florida USA, and shipping from there to the world. If you are in Europe ordering, plan on having to pay a VAT on it.
How long would I have to wait if I ordered the SP2400 today?
That question covers several factors:
- how many extra units were ordered in the initial 1000 if any.
- And how many are left if that was even the case.
- When will another batch come from China if there are none left to cover current orders from the initial 1000 units.
Brad hasn’t addressed this yet in any post that I’m aware of. Though I imagine he will at some point.
Most people have been guessing 4 months out or so. But that is just a guess and that hasn’t been confirmed by anything official from Isla. At some point all back orders will be filled and the time between ordering and receiving should be hardly a factor at all.
Not an official statement per se but the last time I saw Brad Isla reply to that question in a comment, a few days ago, he basically said “new orders, end of March/early April”.
As ever, this is merely an indication, not a promise, as many factors can further slow down / delay production in the meantime.
