I remember a few of their past, long, live-chat videos, where the devs said it would be very difficult to have the pitch-wheel for the miidi-sequencer… as they would have to re-write a lot of things because it would interfere w/ the unique way the S2400 operates (like its’ pitch faders, etc.).
But, what about the CC1 / Mod Wheel?
Honestly, I use the Mod Wheel a lot more (actually, all the time) than the Pitch Wheel on my kybd controller… probably for every project. Whereas, I only use the Pitch Wheel for like 1-5% of my songs/projects (maybe cuz I’m a sucky keys player, lol).
So… if I had to choose just One new feature, out of Pitch and Mod wheels… I’d def choose the Mod Wheel.
It’s def essential to control all my old rack synths.
Ideally, have the midi-sequencer record CC1 “smoothly” too across time/seqeunce, like the old MPC classics. No steps, pauses b/n events, etc.
Also… please fix the long note/s in midi-sequencer from being cut-off upon next loop. Thats a big roadblock for creativity and keyboard playing too.
