Yeah, I’m literally checking for the update multiple times a day - I have a few nasty MIDI track bugs I hope are squashed with the new FW.

It would be great to get more frequent updates now we’re so close to the new firmware, like being told if it can be expected this week or if there is further delay. I was fine with it before but the promise of longer live loops is very enticing and now I can’t stop checking.

Yup yup. Wish we had no preconceived notion about a time frame so it could be a happy little surprise when it arrived. Been a long time working around that choke group reload glitch.

i think it’s gonna be very soon. but to be honest, the S2400, in the way i use it, is working right now without any problems. i’m more thrilled to see updates of the new FX and the filter board. and i would also like to see if there is a way to implement a more refined UI. elektron have such inspiring and cool looking UI’s and i think they completelty overlooked that aspect of a maschine like the S2400.

Most people here have found ways to work around the bugs that are there, but they do mess up the workflow. I’d just like someone from Isla to give us an update on what’s happening with the rollout of the new firmware and drop a post here. That’s not too much to ask really.

I’m sure they are working on it and it will be with us very soon, like they say “good things come to those who wait”

Hopefully in the next week there’s some good news, maybe they are just making sure it’s 100% ready for release?

A January update video was posted to YouTube tonight with info on the firmware. They are just finishing up last minute testing of the firmware and it should be out in the next week or so.

Brad mentioned some interesting updates to the looper, can’t wait. Plus filter card prototype is becoming a very interesting add on. Hope there’s LFOs somewhere in that.
