Not looking for Brad or any of the devs to take time away from their work to answer this but if anyone with a recent delivery can give an idea of their order month I would love to understand where we are in the queue.

Someone on the Facebook group said their oct 1st order was just marked as shipping. I wouldn’t put too much stock in order dates or numbers though because the orders aren’t going out strictly chronologically. They’re gonna have to go back and fill in orders with cases when the cased units arrive.

Thanks for this. Seems like I bailed out of Facebook a couple years too early. Didn’t realize there was a case shortage/delay either.
No prob! Yeah it’s the opposite problem that they had at the beginning of the year. China put all the hard cases on the next half of the shipment so people who ordered a case with the unit are being temporarily skipped over until those units arrive. But supposedly the next shipment will arrive in Florida august 10th. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a week or so late though the way the state of shipping is these days. Regardless, I think it’s completely fair to assume that pretty much everyone who has ordered a unit will have it by late September, assuming there are no more unexpected issues!

I made the same assumption about arrival of the next shipment, hopefully it’s here on the 10th. If it’s already in port then that may be pretty accurate. Brad had projected a Tues arrival for the July shipment and it showed up on Wed, the next day. They had 110 units going out the door by the following Monday.

I ordered Sept 26th of last year and still haven’t received a shipping notification if that helps. Didn’t order a case either.

Hang on, the cases are in this next shipment. Brad didn’t order it that way it’s the way it was sent from China so people with cases are in the next batch which should be here any minute now.

I ordered mine 10/2/2020 (no case) and I received an email stating my order was complete last night. I am just waiting for tracking information at this point.

My S2400 arrived yesterday! I need to get grab an SD card and start the learning curve! The build quality is phenomenal, an unbelievable accomplishment for a small boutique company like ISLA. Please see my order details below;

Yeah, got mine today for a 4th October order - impressively quick delivery times. For anyone who’s wondering, import duty to Ireland came to €230. That’s based on the intro pricing so probably a little bit more now.
Protip: have an SD card ready to go as it’s needed for sampling and slicing - the card I ordered hasn’t turned up yet and I can’t find any lying around, so I’ll have to wait to properly dive in. Still having fun with the factory kits and as getting a handle on how the machine works, probably wouldn’t have bothered to read the manual and watch all the tutorial videos from top to bottom otherwise, so I guess for me it’s probably a bonus.
Very happy with both the build and the workflow so far, eureka moments coming in thick and fast.
Edit - just to add, overwhelming first impression is the sound. Even based on just a couple of hours messing with one-shots, it sounds right in all the ways I’d hoped for. Kudos to Vladimir as well as the rest of the team on their achievement.

This last batch covered some of the bulk of last minute orders at the preorder price before the increase on Oct 5th. This was because all the people who ordered cases had to be passed over until the cases arrive on the next shipment. So we’re into early Oct for people without cases.
