Trouble getting midi keyboard to trigger tracks

Could someone please shed some light on an issue I’m having

I have a Komplete kontrol s49 mk2, which according to NI is class compliant

I have followed all available tutorials and documentation in setting up the keyboard via USB but cannot for the life of me get it to trigger my sounds on the s2400

Has anyone maybe got any idea on a setting I need to be aware of? Or has anyone had a similar experience?

Hello I’ve also a Komplete s49 mk2 and to send midi data in a standalone environment the keyboard has to be powered and connected with DIN.

I know you figured this out, but did you try using the USB hub on the S2400 to run it? I only ask because the keystep works this way (obviously) but I also recently plugged in a Roland e-drum kit (as their midi is only USB) and it communicates and works with the sampler.

Aka, the midi channels on the drum kit can be routed to play whatever you want to trigger using the sampler, without a computer in between.
