Just had this thought while using the looper, and then triggering samples/finger drumming. It would be cool if you could play bank A with the pads, but have the faders adjust levels of Bank D without changing banks for slight changes.
For the sake of performance, when focusing on one mode or bank, to be able to momentarily adjust another bank or mode would be a Godsend. The Cirklon does this kind of thing really well, and as a convenience method, it becomes second nature.
So anyway, my request would be to be able to assign the pads or faders to different banks when needed.
Sorry to keep editing - just had another thought. This could also be achieved if the row of 8 channels could be split (I’ve read murmurs of this before so hopefully on the cards), so channels 1-4 could be Bank A x-x (1-4), and 5-8 could be Bank D x-x. You could also split multi/modes: 1-4 = ‘Bank A 1-4 Pitch’ and 5-8 = ‘Bank A 1-4 Env’. I think it’s important to have control of the yin and yang, and not be constrained by too much focus on one. Swapping hemispheres seems to be a slight bottleneck that maybe doesn’t need to be there.
