[Resolved] Frozen when updating the DSP Firmware

I am updating DSP firmware from 3.0.28 to v3.0.35 and Machine is stuck.
It has been almost 1 hour, There is a white square that looks like a progress bar in Lower left of display. It was successful updating the 2400’s firmware the other day. This is the first DSP firmware update I attempted

  • I did check power cable to see if it was touching the ribbon cable and it is not
  • -there is a red led flashing on the card behind the display
  • as well on the main board under the dsp card
Not sure what I should do.
sorry for double post, deleted by accident

If it has been sat for that long then switch the machine off, remove the SD card and check the DSP version once it’s rebooted.
SHIFT+Effects > Card Version.

the DSP contains a ‘shadow’ copy of the firmware which doesn’t get overwritten unless the firmware update was successful.

Does it display the correct version? If not, please try updating the firmware again.

I shut it down, to see if it would boot by changing the file name… But it booted up fine when I powered it back on, So with the OS firmware booting, I re-downloaded the DSP firmware and deleted the file I attempted to use, It loaded the new firmware for the DSP card then the OS firmware with no problems.

PROBLEM SOLVED
