I opened a ticket and Rob sent me the replacement part. Then, he took the time to explain in details how to replace it . Since I replaced it no problem. 
It is not a modified part.
I put a turntable spindle cap on the shaft. I like it
better than the original knob. It’s about the same size as the mix and headphones knobs on the left.
Concerning spare parts, they may become available in a near future. Probably, when we all lose our warranty.
