Quantize after recording unquantized (fine)

Haven’t heard anything about it yet but maybe it’s in the next FW of we’re lucky.

It just landed on today’s SP404 mk2 update, great feature.
Would be definitely nice for the S2400 so: +1!

I’ve had my unit less then a week, and this is the first (and only) feature i have felt is missing so far.
It also would be great to select a note in “step program” and be able to move it back and forth with the arrows. Much like Elektron Digitakt/Syntakt “Microtiming”

It is possible

You can shift notes in step edit (same thing as elektron micro timing). When you have the cursor over the note you want to shift, press F4(I think, check help menu) and the pad you want to shift and then move it with the encoder.

You can also do it if you select a note in step edit by hitting shift + the step (mute solo buttons and then it’s the little <> icon.

But quantizing all notes after recording them would be very nice, especially if you could quantize by a percentage!

Yup, f4 then whilst holding f4 hit the pad that created the note event you want to move, you can use the transport back and forward buttons or the data encoder. Set the shift resolution by adjusting the quant resolution top right of the step program screen.

I love this feature!

Nice, thanks guys!! :pray:t2: I’ll have to properly RTFM a bit more, before i doubt any more features

Woah, I didn’t know this was a thing until I read this thread. It makes sense why I heard no change when I had issues in my projects. I would expect it to work the way everyone describes it. My expectations are that we should be able to quantize going at least from more fine to less granular quantization.

This and real real-time quantize shift would be nice for the next big firmware update

+1 Its nice to have the option to quantize after the fact, if you so choose!
