Hey so I have been thinking about writing this for a while. See page 46 of the manual about MUTE and SOLO.
" Muted tracks are silenced immediately, when unmuted, the track will not be heard again until it is re-triggered in the pattern."
I can see why that would be a way of working that makes sense in a lot of situations. However more often I find myself wishing the MUTE or SOLO functions applied to the audio output.
This would mean you could have a long loop play with a sequenced trigger on step 1 of bar 1, mute it at some point before the loop ends, then remove the mute and have the audio kick back in, instead of having to wait for the next trigger.
Basically I am asking for post sequence, pre audio output mute and solo. The S2400 would still play the sequence, it just wouldn’t output to audio when muted.
This would be especially helpful for the SOLO button. Currently if you SOLO a track then remove the solo function, you are dropped back into only sounds which have triggers AFTER your remove solo. It isn’t very useful this way in my opinion.
