s2400, vermona drm1 mk4, nord 3p.
drm1 set to midi channel 10 - nord 3p set to midi channel 11
midi din from 2400 to drm1, thru to nord 3p.
all four midi only banks activated - Bank E-H - both play when hitting pads, can’t only get one to play
no matter what settings I use.
However, drm1 using usb to host and nord 3p using midi din - everything separates like I want.
nord 3p on Bank E plays alone no issues, switch to Bank G drm1 plays alone no issues?
I don’t understand whey this is? I have other gear, some usb, some midi only. When I daisy chain on one usb or midi, everything plays that’s on that line no separation. When I use separate connectors usbb, host, midi din everything plays individually like I want.
I’m sure this is something I’m doing wrong, Anyone else experience this? or any suggestions as to what’s happening here?
Each piece of gear has a unique midi channel. drm1 is default midi channel 10, I switched nord 3p global midi to 11.
Essentially I’m controlling midi by midi ports, but I’d like to daisy chain and control midi by each gears midi channel?? but it doesn’t seem to let me do that?
latest firmware on the s2400 too.
