I’ve encountered a strange issue. Currently I have my 8 outs going to my Apollo for processing. All of my S2400 outputs function as expected except output 5. It will not pass audio through the output, but I can hear it in the headphones. No other outputs behave this way. I wasn’t sure if I was encountering this issue, so I removed my SD card and restarted, but the problem persists - anything assigned to output 5 will not come through the speakers, only the headphones. I’ve also experimented with USB audio - I can get sound out, but it still behaves strangely. This thread seems to be talking about the same issue.
Has anyone encountered this before that can help me?

Might be a hardware issue if nothing else works (playing stuff from the internal memory without SD card inserted…etc)
Let us know after what can of problem it was.
The issue I had was common for me though I have not touched my 2400 much this past year. Partially because this issue made me want to use the machine less, partially because I haven’t got my hands on any new vinyl to sample.
I just fired it up and tried doing what causes the issue for me, going into and out of sample mode. This is what often resulted in all outputs only going through headphones, not indvidual outs as expected, and it required entering and exiting sample mode often several times to ‘refresh’ where the machine was sending audio. If I recall, I have had this problem with the 8 outs and main outs, and input monitoring, both analog and USB. Entering and exiting sample mode can intermittently kill any of this audio from exiting where it’s supposed to, resulting in only headphones. I have never had the issue with specifically one channel though.
But thankfully I didn’t manage to get this to happen today. I had my 8 outs working as they should, went into sample mode and back out, all still working as they should. Tried this 10+ times and no change. So this was either fixed in an update or I’m getting lucky, because it was an intermittent issue.
