I am fairly new to S2400 and new to this music creation environment in general, but here I have a noobie situation for which I didn’t find any resolution on the internet. Everything seems to be fine so far but today I wanted to pair a MIDI controller via USB host, and it didn’t work at first but after few settings changes it worked. Now, the main issue is that none of the 8 individual outputs and neither the headphones are working - I loaded a project that worked yesterday - nothing.
If I am trying to connect the MIDI controller and engage some sounds through a DSP plugin, it sounds, so I am assuming that for sure is not something technical, phisical. - I hope it is just something related to the settings.
LE: I manually reset the DSP and when I started the s2400 without the SD card, and with the pre-assigned sounds, the headphones worked. - when I try to load any project from SD, same thing, no sound.
Glad you got the MIDI controller sorted, the settings can sometimes be a little daunting due to the S2400 essentially having 3 different I/O ports that midi can flow in and out of.
Is the DSP card new to your machine?
I mean, the projects on your SD card, were they made with a DSP card or without?
It sounds like maybe you need to setup your signal routing in the DSP mixer..
Appreciate your quick reply on this. I have the DSP card installed for 10 days now and had some projects that I’ve worked on using some effects - but everything works smooth even with loading projects.
Just finished formating my SD card and copy the old files again (as I had backup on laptop) and it seems the SD card was the issue (odd thing) - after reseting the DSP card, I started the machine without the SD card inserted, and worked like a charm with the pre-assigned sounds. - right after I inserted the SD, every output was down.
Now I am happy that I am able to start a new project today.
Thanks and I hope some will find this post useful.
