When I start it, it plays for a second through the headphones. After that , the sound just goes very soft. What should I do?
Check your headphones for continuity by wiggling the wired connection areas (gently), test with another pair of headphones. If the problem persists open a ticket with the Isla team.
Thanks for the info , but that is not correct because I have tried other external soundcards, and they work perfectly. It’s definitely a setting on the device itself. But thx anyway,
I didn’t say your headphones were at fault just to check them, which you already had so probably you need to open a support ticket with the team.
I did see brad demonstrating the DSP card install yesterday and noticed that there are some audio connection internally, one of which was the headphones, it looked like it would be relatively easy during construction for the cable to not be inserted correctly…so it might be that? anyway they will advise.
As the headphone output is manually tested on every unit (source: I test them personally) I would respectfully suggest that it isn’t a hardware issue. I’ve also never had a unit demonstrate this issue before in over 3500 machines tested.
I would check with a second set of headphones (this issue could also be happening if you’re using low impedance headphones so avoid those) and also look to confirm the issue by loading and playing back any one of the pre-loaded default sounds as it may be an issue with the particular sample that is being used.
Guys listen to me. From the unit itself, everything is great. When I play sounds from my cpu, they are not playing. Actually they are playing but very, very faintly. This is a settings issue. I will try the global settings or output settings menu. Thx for helping me bye .
Maybe the problem is your computer or settings in your DAW.
