Firmware Update gone wrong? Help

So I purchased the s2400 second hand market. Everything works well after a week I decided to do the firmware update because I noticed when I turned on the unit it said it was running march 18th firmware ui and ae I think. so I decide to download the latest update and I connected the unit to my computer and dropped the update that had .UPF at the end and when I ejected the unit from my computer the S2400 cut off and didn’t cut back on. the power button lights up but other than that it does not work anymore? screen black and nothing lights up. can anyone help with this?

I would open a support ticket on the main website if you haven’t already.

This sounds like a major bummer man sorry

I actually figured it out.. will make a cohesive post and video showing how to do it. I will purposefully create the same situation and showing the fix for the community

Download the latest firmware, change the extension from .upd to .upf and put it on your SD card. Place that in your machine with the power off then turn it on. The screen will stay dark for 90 seconds or so then it will boot up as normal.

You just run the forced firmware update. There are already instructions on how to do this on the first post in the firmware update thread.
