Channel Outs significantly quieter than Mix Out

I’m currently having an issue with the individual outs putting out significantly less gain than the mix out.

Screenshot attached is my test of the sample (mono) out of both.

The left audio clip is coming out of Channel 1, and the right clip is the exact same sample coming out of Mix 1. Same TS cable was swapped / used to record both.

I’m not sure if this is an issue related to DSP layer, but either way I’ve cleared the config so there are no plugins processing that channel.

it is like that and it is not related the the DSP

I used to use the gain setting to boost the volume where needed, but since getting the DSP card I’ve been throwing a pre-amp plugin on things needing help.

Thank you for this I was also wondering about the low gain level on the individual outs.

It is like that on purpose not a bug. Consider that you are running all 8 outputs into an interface or desk. The summed volume would be really high if the output level was by default the same as the Mix Outs.

Thanks for clearing this up. I also just got a new interface (MOTU 828) and I was also perplexed at how I need to add the 20dB of gain in CueMix for my signal to still only hit -15.6dB on the meter.
