Sorry if this is discussed elsewhere…
Is the 3rd-party card developer API available now? Even some of the info like what is the hardware interface?
As a EE who doesn’t have time to develop a full polysynth outside my day-job. I’m interested in making my own cards.
Love the idea of the Caladan in general! Thank you for supporting a multi-timbral design.

The general idea is that a card sits in a pcie connector (it’s not pcie standard) and is supplied with an SPI bus, digital and bipolar analogue power rails and has access to any 1 or 2 of 8 analogue audio buses.
At the moment, we are just sending midi data to the cards, but that is likely to develop into an API
Cards are essentially self contained synths of any type on a card my dual OPL3 card is six voice, quadrowave wave table card is 4 voices per card and our stock 3dco card is a single voice.
More info to follow, but yes we’ll be providing a dev kit in due course.
