On sampling incoming audio over USB, Brad mentions in the demo it will be done via Input Monitoring. As of now the only way to record Input Monitor signals is to a live loop right? Which can then be saved as a sample.
Understood if you can’t share specifics yet, but how is sampling over USB gonna work? Will there be a way to record and save files straight from the Input Mon section? USB audio a new input option in the Sample section once Input Mon set to USB?
The sampler will have a (new) USB input option.
Shweeet, makes sense - thanks for the info I’m pumped for this release. Obviously aside from all the other awesomeness coming with USB audio, gonna make sampling those Boston Public Library archives you shared a TON easier (how do I link to thread to share here?).
I’ve noticed some of the super old records sound different after downloading (degraded to me, maybe I’m downloading the wrong files though) than they do when just previewing them on the site.
