Ive noticed I get non zero crossed start points when using threshold sampling. I set the level to around -45db and it seems pretty consistent across samples. I work around it by either grabbing a little more of the sample than I need/if Im playing something hit an extra note prior to sampling what I really want or just set threshold to -100 and use the wave editor. Anyone else notice this?
