Right now you need two hands to change quantize setting (Quantise + Pot), could be done faster and with only one hand with TAP/Repeat + >>> or <<<
It helps when you are playing live and quickly want to repeat stuff at different rythm
The Quantize+Pad method needs two hands. However, if you just press the Quantize button and hit a pad, then you can change the setting with one hand.
The idea is to tweak the quantise settings with the right hand very fast, to be able to play a pad with the new settings applied.
- Left hand ready to press a pad
- Right thumb on TAP
- Right index finger on <<<
- Right middle finger on >>>
With index and middle you can switch between quantise settings very fast
I still don’t get it. You can already do that with one less button pressed down.
When you press Quantise once then a pad, you apply the quantise parameter previously selected (correct me if i’m wrong). And if you want to change this parameter on the fly, you need to do this + turn the pot.
Also, by doing this you need to “aim” the button quantise then drop it and move your hand at the opposite direction, eye’s needed. Instead of putting 3 fingers of the right hand on Tap + >>> + <<<<. at the same time without lifting your hand nor looking at it. Always faster in live or recording situation.
