Sounds not triggering when track running

Hi an issue Ive had with my machine occasionally is that a recorded sound will randomly not trigger when running the track, like for example a kickdrum will suddenly not play for one measure. Sometimes it just seems to happen on its own but more often it will be when I am doing something, like filtering another sound. I have attached a clip of it happening (this was after the song had played for about a minute and a half without glitching).

Other times a cut up multimode sample across pads will play back all jumbled up for one loop of a pattern but this is rarer.

I wondered if it was caused by the card I was using. I had been using a Sandisk very fast but very large one, so switched to the Lexar 64gb, 250mbs speed one, which is what I used in the clip, but its still doing it. Anyone else had this issue?

It will only be SD card related if you’re using samples that are over 2Mb. Samples over 2Mb are streamed from disk, and can suffer from dropouts if the card cannot deliver the data fast enough.

To check the size of your samples, go to Track Settings and open the info menu 3 lines down.

The kick drum sample that drops out is definitely less than 2Mb so I didnt think it should be a card issue - unless the fact that the musical sample playing over it, which IS more than 2Mb, could cause a dropout on the sample less than 2mb?
