Some tidbits from this week

Just a few shots from the past couple of days, when I can do a video I will.

Each card has its own driver, which also contains metadata for all its parameters.

Synth panel manager scans this metadata and populates all the encoders and buttons with the relevant controls.

I also have openGL running and as you can see, a proof of concept showing all the card parameters being sent to hdmi. So you can control the whole thing with a mouse on the screen also.

The next thing I need to work on is the ā€˜part manager’ assign n amount of voices to part 1, part 2 might be a plugin etc etc

Also a screen mirror/focus mode. If you are deep in the edit, whichever of the 4 small oled screens are in focus can be mirrored to the larger main oled screen.

Holy crap that’s beautiful! :star_struck:

Wish i knew how to help. Or how to do some of that stuff. I’d come help. This is dope still.

Thanks for the dedication.

S2400 sundays don’t exist without your idea n dream coming to fruition.
thx for the update. :folded_hands:t6::folded_hands:t6::folded_hands:t6::folded_hands:t6:. Looks good

Thank you for taking the time to post these pics and the description.
I love that you are making use of the hdmi port.
Part of the reason I pre-ordered a Caladan almost immediately when it was announced is that I want to see a well engineered synth that takes advantage of all the cool things the available technology can do without being constrained by a a big corporations ā€œminimum viable productā€ mindset.
I’m as facilitated by how you are making this as I am looking forward to playing with it so please post stuff like this when you can.

Brad baby, that thing is looking beautiful. Is there gonna be any kind of native way for that to sync with the S 2400?

It’s made to sync with the S2400
