Select multi mode pad without playing a sound

I would like to be able to select a pad for multi mode without triggering the sound. This could be done, for example, by holding the Multi Mode button and pressing a Pad.

Also, this could work for selecting another pad when the multi mode is already active. For a better user experience, the pads could lights in their “original” colors, when the Multi Mode button is pressed and held.

What do you think?

I may have stumbled upon a bug which prevented it from working… or I just had the Track Settings screen open all the time.
