Saving project after assigning sound while playing

Steps to reproduce

  • Start with empty project
  • Load samples or folder
  • Record a pattern
  • Save project
  • Play pattern
  • Assign sound to a track
  • Stop playing
  • Save project (Shift + Save)
  • Crash
  • Project file with 0B on SD card

(latest Firmware, enough space on 2GB SD card, formatted in S2400)

Doing those exact steps does not crash my machine. If these steps would crash every s2400 everytime, a lot more people would have made a bug report, because those a the basic steps you make whenever you make something new.

Can you be more specific on what it is exactly that you are doing? So what sample (length, sample rate, bit depth) do you load on which pad, at what moment? Do you leave the assign page and enter main screen? How do you record the pattern (live, tr, step)? Do you use multimode anywhere? Etc?

Yes, that’s what I thought in the first place. Testing now different SD cards and copying files via MSC mode vs. direct on card on PC (Mac).

It might be related to the type or size of the SD card. I am now using a smaller card (1GB) and had no issues so far.
