I have been working on creating a new default “template” Project for my S2400, with all of the settings I prefer to get started with.
For the track settings on each of the sample tracks, I am trying to save the Output setting for each track to the Project. After a couple of tries setting the Output setting, then saving the Project, then re-loading the same Project, I realized my track Output settings were not saving/loading with the Project. Instead, it resets the Output to 1-8 for Pads 1-8 respectively across all Banks.
I looked in the manual to investigate to make sure I wasn’t missing something. It says that Track settings are saved in the Kit! This makes sense, and the kits I have saved with specific Outputs settings did load with the kit. So, I figured that’s fine, I can just save a default kit with no samples and the Track settings… But of course you cannot save an empty kit 
So, it appears that we don’t have a way to save sample Track settings with different Outputs (and presumably other parameters) without a Kit. This makes it not possible to save a default template Project with these settings on empty sample tracks. This would be a nice feature, so that when I load up a sample or a Sounds Folder, it/they will immediately play out of the desired Output.
Let me know if I am missing something! I thought this might be saved into the .MAP settings but that only holds the MIDI settings.
