MIDI note assignments not saved consistently with Project

Using an empty Project as a template to trigger Drum Rack in Ableton Live I use the tracks in banks A and B to get the velocity sent from the pads with ‘Percussion’. The S2400 is set up to receive no MIDI via USB or DIN, only send MIDI. I then save that Project for using again. The next time I load that Project the MIDI note assignments have changed and I have to re-assign each pad/track again, even if this is immediately after the save. Is there anything obvious that I’m missing here? The odd thing is that I have another Project that uses banks A and B for dynamically triggering a Vermona DRM and it’s settings load ok. I’ve tried saving a new Drum Rack project and loading that, but the same issue. Any pointers or is this a possible bug?

Spoke too soon. Loading up the Vermona control project today, the note assignments have changed from the saved version -seems to always default to C1 for track 1 and so on. This must be a bug, surely?

Save with sound sample on a pad or it wont save settings.
Would be good to change this in an update.

Yeah, looks like it. I guess you could load 32 claps into the sample tracks and save that as a trigger template. But I’d like to request an update where a project with no samples loaded still saved note assignments and output settings. Much as I love my S2400 I just splashed the cash on an Xjam to do what the S2400 really should do on power up.
