Guys,
Still a newb to the S2400. I mainly produce Jungle and other breaks music. Coming from tracker software, I am used to the option to slice a break, play from any selected slice, but the entire break will finish. So, if I play for instance Slice 3, it starts from there, and plays the whole remainder of the sample.
I’ve searched for this and think the S2400 doesn’t have the option, but still checking with you?
im not sure how to do it in the s2400 but thinking you could use the slice start point feature to do what you are wanting? and use multiple pads…
In multimode Loop/Slice, the Start and End Points of the 8 different slices are not tied up one to another, so you can set all of the slices End parameter to the end of the break and they all will play through. But keep in mind that multi is mono, so if you hit another pad it will stop the previous one from playing.
Also there is a Function where you can do the opposite. I mean set the slice end to next slice start.
