Another newbie to the sampling world.
Have dabbled with Digitakt, but disliked workflow.
Got my S2400 a few days ago, and struggling my way around.
2 qustions please…
1/
When assigning a recorded sample to a pad, say 5 seconds long, when i trigger pad it cuts the whole sample short, even if i keep pad pressed.
How do i get to play whole sample?
2/
Once ive recorded and saved a sample, how do i go back to re-edit it after its been saved?
Any help would be super.

Hello,
1: Either increase the envelope release or set the pad to gated within the track settings menu. In gated mode you must keep the pad held down for the duration of the sample to hear it in full.
2: Make sure you are assigning your sample to a pad whenever you save. Further editing can then be done from the pad.

Thanks for response, helped me a lot, thank you. Without obvious menus, things can get frustrating. Its a new workflow to me, and im sure ill hit the wall again soon.
