I’m finding when I record samples with gate on the sequencer is recording slightly shorter samples than I’m playing. I have a 1m YouTube video showcasing this.(links below)
You can hear I’m recording longer tails when I release the pad, but on playback slightly shortened tail lengths are actually getting recorded? Anyone else? Should I log this as a bug?

Isn’t that what a “gate” does? Gates don’t let everything through, then they would just be called “free admittance” or “public school”.
I was also curious about this in terms of using the TR Mode, if I enter a step it won’t play certain samples at full length. But when holding down the pad in Record mode it will. I thought it might have something to do with the sample but that doesn’t really make sense because they’re just audio files with no metadata
Did you watch the video? It’s snapping closed too soon on release audibly Different from the length I’m recording it in at. If I hold it don’t a whisker long, it records too much of the sample.
change the quantize for that track?
Thanks Brad, no, I’ll try it this weekend. You mean just change my current quantise setting to any Other setting?
