Sample re-edit

Hi everyone,
Another newbie to the sampling world.
Have dabbled with Digitakt, but disliked workflow.
Got my S2400 a few days ago, and struggling my way around.
2 qustions please…
1/
When assigning a recorded sample to a pad, say 5 seconds long, when i trigger pad it cuts the whole sample short, even if i keep pad pressed.
How do i get to play whole sample?
2/
Once ive recorded and saved a sample, how do i go back to re-edit it after its been saved?

Any help would be super.
Paddy.

  1. Check the end point of your sample in the wave editor
  2. Save the sample to a pad and use the wave editor

the learning curve is steep, but I’ll be honest stick at it. after you pick it up, the 2400 just keeps on giving…

watch the isla tutorials, takes time but is worth it.

whatever you sample can be re edit

  1. go through the steps of sampling
  2. once its on the pad push loop/slice then the B button
your sample wave will show in the screen
  3. make your changes such as start -end points or chops
  4. save button
  5. rename it,
  6. sign it to a pad
  7. save it
  8. push the B button to close the window or the back button
THIS IS A FASTER WAY TO RE EDIT AND RE CHOP A SOUND OR SAMPLE.
