I start a new project, i rename directly before make song.
I sample, A1 A2 A3 kick snare hi hat. Sample piano A7 guitar A8
I finish my track, i rename a 2nd time…and i lost my project.
A7 and A8 are my snare and hi hat (kick stay on A1) and my original samples piano and guitar are lost…i can’t found them in my SD card…
Séquence is always on my A1 A2 A3 A7 A8 pads but samples moving or lost.
OMG…2nd time my s2400 do that in 2 days…
I just rename my song before i make it.
This time, my kick stay A1 and go A8 too, my snare stay A2 and go A7 too.
My 2 samples on A7 and A8 are lost.
I can’t work on my s2400, if i save i loose.
This time i rename just at the begining, not twice.
And now i load the project and only my hi hat A3 is here.
A1 and A2 disapear and are on A7 A8…
Do you Save the Project after renaming? You must rename (Rename Project) and save (Save Project). Just renaming will not also save.
Of course i save. I save 1 time before i lost the project.
I save after make A1 A2 A3 A8 sequence.
I add sample on A7, i sequence, i save…and that happened…
What OS version are you running?
Have you tried a different SD card?
There should be no problem with saving using the latest OS and a good SD card.
Last OS décember 2021 (i bought my unit 3 weeks ago).
And my SD is a brand new sandisk 32gb.
I will try new SD.
Also, 1 time i had a similar’issue.
I was working on track. Drums pad A1234 and B2. Melodics samples A7 A8, bass note A6.
I take a break, s2400 go into standby with blinkin pads.
I came back to finish project, A6 bass note was empty and pad white. No bass note into SD card. I always save my samples
I cannot think what would cause this. It sounds as though samples are disappearing, but I don’t know how that is possible.
Are these samples you have loaded from SD, or sampled from Line/Phono/USB input?
Can you list the exact steps you take when creating a project, sampling and saving?
Does the problem only happen with projects you have renamed?
I record samples from line in 1 and 2, 12bits.

I sequence A7 and A8, and when i save sample A7 A8 disappear, A1 go A8 and A2 go A7.
Séquence stay on all pads.
I try new SD card today.
Can you expand on this?
I make shift file just after load unit, new project, change name project, click save F3.
And i make my track.
OK. It does not sound like you are doing anything wrong so far. I am not sure where the problem is. If you can think of any other details which might help, please let us know.
Samples disappearing, or moving from one pad to another, is very strange.
Yeah very strange.
It make me stress because i can’t reload old save. It’s deleting all my work.
I m working with new SD card right now (same model, sandisk sdhc 32gb) and for the moment no issues.
