When listening to USB IN in quest of good samples, it would be nice to be able to change the pitch of the incoming signal before sampling.
Are you asking for pitch-shifting of live audio? That’s a difficult thing to do without significant artefacts. Much better to sample it first, then pitch-shift.

Yeah pitching like when moving the pitch of a turntable before sampling.
Until now I’ve used Reaper to pitch, cut and convert files to 48khz before transfering via MSC so I thought it would be perfect if it could be done inside the S2400 when using USB in. Not a big deal though. Just a different way to do the same thing.
It can be seen as an FX on the input so it’s best to save resources for more important stuff indeed
