You’re a bit optimistic when you say 6 months. I’d say 2 or 3 years.
Curious to know what is Isla’s priority.
Make a complete MIDI sequencer or make it a complete sampler.
Personnaly, I can live without extra MIDI functions 
omg i hope you are wrong with 2 or 3 years…
i think pingpong, slicing, no 2mb limit, round robin: those are all completely basic functions for a sampler in this price range today , no matter if born as SP clone or not.
I also got a Waldorf M which i like es nuch as the ISLA but that still has the LFOs not working properly. I am not asking for super fancy new features, but having to wait month after month for most elementary functions is just frustrating.

Being able to do this per slice would be great. The usual loop options, fwd/rev/pingpong.
+1. Do not spend too much time on effects that people will never use. Please implement basic functions first

As a new firmware and a series of updates fixing the new firmware will probably come soon, we’d be happy if you could implement basic features that we are still waiting for 
If possible, without the need of buying the DSP card for this one.
