Pattern change without external controller

Hi folks

Has anyone explored using the pads /faders to do pattern changes?
Yes theres using the jog wheel /input on fkeys/hitting the next/back buttons but i don’t find them suitable for live performance…

Is there a way to assign a series of pads on on eof the banks to trigger pattern changes without having to bring in another piece of midi gear?

There is not. Out of curiosity, what’s the problem with the encoder or transport buttons?

The encoder/data input is fine… In the studio… But for live it’s too delicate… Easy to skip a pattern by accident.

Inputting the pattern numbers are too fiddly aswell In The live context
