Pan settings are not reset when creating a new project

How to reproduce:

  1. Load an existing project which has some custom panning set or create a new one and make some changes to the panning
  2. Create a new project
  3. Click Shift + Pan and see the previous pan settings.

Isn’t this more like a feature than it is a bug?

To me it would be more convenient to keep the same pan settings as in the previous project. The chance that you need exactly the same as before is a lot bigger than that you change it in the same session. So if you ask me, please keep it like it is now.

But like with so many other settings where you want a different default, you can create your own template project. Load this instead of ‘new project’ and ‘save as’ after you loaded it.

That’s a valid point.

But, since you’ve mentioned template projects, the same logic could be applied to pan settings: if the user wants custom ones, they could save them as a template.

With the current implementation, there is no “default” at all.

When I load my default project, the PAN settings are also loaded with it. Those are my defaults.

Loading is doing different things than creating a new project.
