Lock Pad/Track During List-Mode/List-View in Step-Edit Mode

One thing I found really annoying/tedious is… let’s say I wanna double check my midi-kybd/sequencer playing on E1 (it can be a sample pad A1-D8 too tho) with the list-mode/list-view in step-edit…

The pad/track you’re checking isn’t locked on and switches back to A1 or some other random pad when you toggle to next events, that fills up the particular quantize-location/event… forcing you to constantly use the upper-left scroll wheel and a fews press-downs (does hitting the pad work too? if so, it’s still an unnecessary tedious step) to scroll down and re-find the pad/track you’re double checking/editing… for almost each and every quantized event.

You can toggle easily b/n quantized-events via 1/left/prev-event or 3/right/next-event. But, when the pad/track isn’t locked, it’s a bigtime hassle to keep re-finding the track.

My old mpc60 was always locked on to a chosen particular track… even when the step/event was totally empty… or in other words, no events of that chosen track was in a particular quantized-event/step, but was still locked onto that track.

Can you please make this a new feature and lock the pad/track during list-mode/list-view?

Yeah… making it super quick and easy to toggle previous/next would help a lot, during double-checking for mistakes and/or edits/fixes.

In the classic MPCs, you can toggle through hundreds of events, while sticking to the same track/pad, very easily and quickly.

With the S2400 list-mode/list-view, you have to add extra steps, using the scroll-wheel and press-downs to re-acquire the track… imagine doing that hundreds of times for each and every event, I gave up a while ago.
