I am still unable to reproduce this with the Feb 22 OS. Is there a certain project where you can reproduce it reliably? If so would you mind uploading?
@rozz3r I just got to my unit and made a project where I can repro it somewhat consistently (which is still about 60% of attempts).
I actually made 2 projects where I was able to confirm my theory. The issue began after having recorded five loops on pads 1-5 and committed them to buffer A. Recording loops 6, 7, 8 has a chance that the unwanted sound would appear.
I tried different BPM, pattern length = 8
, looping mode set to Latched
, recording by pressing the pad to arm it and then Run
+ Rec
to begin recording.
In the project, every loop was set to have Division = 1
.
The extra sound appears only when recording the live loop (monitoring through S2400). It does not appear when you are monitoring without recording.
Hereās one of the projects:

Live loops 6, 7, 8 all have that extra sound. Try re-recording loop 7 or 8 a couple of times.
Bump. I also had this issue a couple of times with the 2023-04-28 firmware. Unfortunately, I donāt have any idea how to reproduce it.
I was going to say that I am not crazy, although it may very well be that both of us are crazy because this hasnāt ever got anywhere despite the bug report being here for almost a year and a half
In total, the issue has been present in (at least) 4 firmware versions
