Ok, with hp fully high passed why does increasing the resonance even slightly, suddenly add the low end back.
But I think I like this effect.

Revisiting this, could someone from the Isla team explain what the high-pass filter is really doing? I’ve noticed myself that it doesn’t operate with the usual filter topology to be expected. That is like the op mentioned (cutoff knob sets cutoff frequency, resonance knob sets the resonance AT the cutoff frequency). Instead the high pass filter behaves like a combination of both a low and hi cut that vary in frequency depending on the knob values. It would be nice if this behavior were clarified in the user manual.
To be clear, I also like the current behavior of the high pass filter, just want the clarification.
Yes would be nice to know, especially that it’s a digital filter, maybe it’s based of something?
