One of my favorite features on the Tempest is the on board arpeggiator. When you have open/closed hi hat samples assigned to two pads, holding them down with a “Random” arpeggiator active creates some really unique and organic hi hat patterns. Same when you have snare and tom samples it creates some wild drum fills. Also it would be beneficial in modes like “Pitch” or “Level”.
I know it might seem like an odd request for a drum machine, but I think it would really be an excellent performance and creation tool.
