I’d love to suggest a direct resampling function for the S2400. Currently, “Bounce Pattern” can be used as a workaround, but it’s not ideal. For example, I recently wanted to merge two layered clap samples into one to save voices, but I had to record a full bar, which resulted in unnecessary silence—and I also had to create a new pattern just for this.
Even using an external cable to route the output back into the input isn’t possible, since the sampler cannot play a sequence while on the recording page.
A dedicated resampling function would be extremely useful—not only for layering sounds efficiently but also for taking full advantage of the new DSP effects, making it a powerful tool for sound design.
Would this be something that could be considered for a future update? I believe this feature would greatly expand the creative potential of the S2400.
