Crossfade Loop Points

This is the one feature that would push the S2400 over the edge for me. It is very rare to find a sound that loops perfectly without clicks or a noticeable difference in volume. Crossfades can be a godsend when samples are not cooperating, and they lead to a lot of happy accidents and really interesting sound morphing. They’re also quite helpful for cleaning up sampled hi hats and chops with abrupt endings. It was a standard feature for rack samplers since the early 1990s and doesn’t cost too much additional DSP. Would really differentiate the S2400 from every other hardware sampler today, where the main focus is on one-shots. And I could finally retire the old Akai
