When starting and stopping loop recording, the sound is cut without fading, which results in ugly clicks. I understand that technically this is probably not a bug but rather the way the machine currently works, but in my opinion such behaviour does not meet today’s standards. There is the same problem with muting and soloing: the absence of fade in and fade out. Please fix this!
Maybe even a system settings could be added for more or less soft ramping?

There are still annoying clicks when you toggle loop record while monitoring audio.
The good thing is that these clicks are not in the recorded audio. They are only heard when recording/monitoring. Which could still be irritating, especially in a live situation.
@av500, is this a really tricky fix or did it just slip your mind?
@av500 Okay, I get it now, it must be indeed tricky. The thing which is causing clicks when turning loop recording on and off seems to be the input monitoring itself. I can imagine that there are indeed no simple ways to fade it in and out.
Well, I suppose it’s another piece of evidence that the entire input and record monitoring system in live loops was designed as an afterthought.
