Wish there was a shortcut to remove sound and settings from a pad quickly. Similar to the undo shortcut but for pad sound reset/purging.

You can hit shift+pad for the track you want to clear, then choose “clear sound” under “actions”. It removes the assigned sound and restores track settings to defaults.

Mine doesn’t restore the settings, i have to remove the sample, then restore the track. I really just want to do it in one command that saves me from going all the way to the bottom of the track settings.
Are you on the latest firmware on your S2400?

I think it would make sense if the clear sound option would put the track to its default settings, but on my machine it doesn’t either.
To completely empty a track, I have to go:
-clear track (in track settings)
-put back to default (back+pad is the shortcut for this)
-clear the sequence of this track (erase+pad shortcut).
I can imagine its good to be able to clear the track but keep the sequence, but the other 2 should be the same shortcut imho.
