It would be beneficial to have an option under Actions in Track Settings to reset track settings to their default values (Transpose, Pad color, Gain, Choke Group etc.).
There is an option “Clear Sound” but nothing to reset the other track settings.

I’ve found myself copy+pasting a blank pad as a workaround when I need a full reset. Back+pad resets parameters but doesn’t seem to return the pad to its default state.

There is a bug (fixed in dev) where after clear, the changed settings are not updated on screen, so you have to exit and re-enter track settings.
Currently, Gain, Transpose, and Gated are reset on clear.
In dev, we now also reset Stop on Mute, Round-Robin, Swing, and Quantize
The remaining settings are Audio Engine, Bit Depth, Output, Choke Group, Pitch Res, Vol.Envelope, and Color. I think to reset those would annoy more users than it would make happy.

Personally, I wouldn’t want volume envelopes and choke groups to persist.
There’s a reason why I want to put a certain sample in a specific choke group and a specific volume envelope. However, I agree with keeping other params
