Best way to pair sp404

I got the Per4mer and I love it, it is a bit pricey for what it is but I love supporting Corry’s company. He’s also added quite a bit of functionality in the latest firmware which really brought it together for me, the compressor is awesome now that you can adjust all the parameters, added hp/lp filters, blend control for all fx, and the ability to save current settings which is great.

I think coming in from the modular perspective it’s priced semi-according to say a good multi-fx or even just a tape delay module, but when you put it up against an sp404 it does seems expensive. That said seeing the 404mk2 is gonna be $499, I may have to finally dive into Roland.

Oh ok that makes sense yeah it looks top notch for what it does and I definitely get supporting smaller companies it’s just too much for me for what it is, just 4 arcade buttons and some knobs for $400 lol.

For anyone who doesn’t mind using Daw in their workflow check out Zenology Fx plug-in by Roland, it’s basically sp404 fx plug-in it’s free for now I think it’s still a beta I just found out about it last night I’m gonna try it out today.

Hahaaaa

We all do it

Im listing sm sp404A as we speak! hopefully who ever buys i hasnt seen the leaked new SP505

whoa, a lot, seems like a pretty capable box.

SP404mk2 preordered, thinking now about workflow with S2400. Sounds like a dope combo.

Same, preordered also. I think they’ll pair nicely.

No one wants to buy my old 404 now :upside_down_face: might have to just keep it and get the new one
