total accident - @Mickey not sure how you would want to categorise this , feature request or bug in OS who knows. Yes it is a user error so is on me of course but i think it shouldn’t happen / be allowed.
E1 is our 1st midi track as we all know
i am browsing audio files ,. auto pilot mode and i strike the pad to apply a sample - i am in bank E and the pad i strike is E1 - now E1 no longer sends midi and obviously will not play the sample - SHIFT+PAD would not allow access to the pad (i hoped it would allow me to correct my error), machine had to be rebooted to correct the issue
have repeated intentionally now a few times to make sure
