Do I understand correctly that we can only pan output channels, but not tracks directly?
I would like to rout tracks A1-8 to the individual outputs 1-8 and tracks B1-8 to the main stereo output. I would also like to pan B1-8.
Possible?
Yes pan works on output channels and what you’d like to do is not possible in the analog realm.
The problem is if you physically plug something to the separate outs, these separate outs are physically disconnected from the main outs.
Not sure if it’s the same in the digital realm though.
I am not using USB audio so I don’t know how the machine behaves in this case.
Now I wonder if it’s possible with the new DSP card, which is supposed to work as an 8-bus digital mixing console.

Outputs management might be improved with the filter board.
