Panning other than for outputs?

Hi , just got my S2400. Just getting used to a very different way of working.

Panning has got me confused though.

Is there a way to pan other than the pan section for the outputs ?

At the moment if I change panning it effects all banks , is there no way to pan individual track other than sending them to the 8 outputs you have panned.

Basically I want to pan my drums but send them on the main bus. But I also want other tracks in other banks to go out the main bus with different panning ?

Normally you can just do this in the mixer , I’m a little confused ?

Edit I think I’ve worked it out more…

So if I have a stereo sample going to 1&2 I need to pan 1 hard left and 2 hard right ?

Yes to your last question.

it is a shame that they haven’t or cannot implement a more ‘standard’ modern sampler way of working with pan! But thats it I think, it will stay as is in the stock configuration, with greater control being possible via the DSP card…maybe?

Here’s a shortcut:

F9: Auto-pan hard pans output pairs left and right if there are only stereo tracks on the pair, and
pans all mono-only output to center. Quickly double-clicking the Pan key executes an auto-pan
and closes the screen.
