I suppose the answer is no but asking just in case.
For example, after creating 8 slices is there a way for slice 5 to have its own level settings spread across the 8 pads?
It can easily be edited afterwards in Step program but I m wondering if there is a way to do it more “real time”. For example before recording.
Save that slice as its own sample, then you can slice it nine ways.

That’s what I was thinking as a possible workaround indeed.
Would be cool if you could consider adding “batch extract of multi-slices to individual samples” at the bottom of the feature request list. This is another case when it can be handy
