Storing Metadata + organising data

I couldn’t find this as a prior request - but since getting a 256gig card, have been thinking it’d be cool if you could enter/access metadata for the audio files - this of course leading to quickly filtering + sorting that data.

Typically you’d store things like BPM, tonic, mode - and then Spotify used to give access to a lot of strange values for things, and you can decide your own attributes. Pretty useful when you’re thinking about a collection of samples, and how to quickly find what will work.

Also, metadata could lead to things like wave file overview - so it’d be quicker to view/edit samples, especially when they can be minutes long.

But what led to the wish was thinking “It’d be nice to be able to quickly find all the acapellas that are 86bpm.”

Having come from using Maschine this was a huge thing I missed which was the immediacy of being able to find things quickly like that, but I doubt it’ll be possible on the UI that is on the s2400. I basically had to adapt and organize my files in a certain way: for example all my Kicks are in a separate Folder, HH’s, etc.
